Narrative:

My work is currently involved in recycled fibers and alternative fibers. I helped to start a Papermaker's Garden at Columbia College Chicago, and much of my papermaking research revolves around gardens and agriculture as paper fiber sources. I also experiment with very LARGE deckle boxes. I also work with new media exploration, electronics and sound, as well as performance with paper. www.alexborgen.com http://www.colum.edu/Academics/Interarts/research/student-research.php http://www.colum.edu/Academics/Interarts/research/papermakers-garden.php http://blogs.colum.edu/interarts-cbpa/2013/03/22/papermakers-garden-recognized-as-key-component-of-wabash-arts-corridor/
